THE BEGINNING OF THE REST OF MY LIFE

It all started this week. The beginning of my continuation into my entrepreneurial life. And life is hard. Jack just got home from over a week in the hospital following "the crash", school started and I am non-weight bearing on my right leg, status post foot surgery. My DRIVING leg. Yet, I got my homework done, closed a real estate deal and kept up as best as I could with the household with lots of help from the fam and Grammy--and the LORD. I cannot adequately describe the support and uplifting I have received from Him and I know He will walk this difficult path with me. As the saying goes, "I can do hard things, but with Christ, I can do all things".

I'm looking forward to figuring out what I want and how to contribute to the world. If we are the Lord's hands, I am going to try to give him something to work with! I was really caught up with Elder Bednar's talk about living for Christ. It was an interesting spin on a topic that I haven't considered on a very deep level. I commit to finding and understanding my spiritual gifts and applying them as He would have me do. I commit to building the kingdom and making life better for others. I have a big, terrifying dream and I'm not sure how to achieve it, but if it's His will, I will find the way He has prepared for me.

What I know about myself, professionally:
I love to work for myself.
I must have freedom to pursue what I feel is good and flexibility in my schedule to spend time with cherished people, developing talents and pursuing hobbies.
I love to contribute in a meaningful way.
I want to make life better for others.
I hate monotony.
I need challenges to thrive and stay motivated and interested.
I ADORE positive collaboration and seek out other opinions and experiences.
